It's such a bad take, has no place in reality, is not reflected by ANY championship-caliber program, and is honestly just tired.
Mizzou can, will, and should, continue playing a 1AA school every single season. Take the win. Mizzou isn't going to miss our on opportunities for greatness because of our non-con schedule; our success comes from SEC play. Either we're good enough there, or we aren't. Beating Eastern Michigan instead of Murray State does nothing, and losing to Clemson instead of beating Murray State does worse.
If we're less than 1000 tickets away from a sellout, we're doing fine. Our season tickets are sold out, I won't be surprised when the rest of the games are sold out. And if we're what we should be this year, next year will take care of itself.
Anyone *****ing about or chastising the fan base is a waste of oxygen.
