Jeff B wanted to know why its well known that the trump is lying about Project 2025. And once again I am more than happy to bring truth to Tigerboard.
First. Its a well known , documented and persistent fact that the trump lies all the time. He lies even when the truth would serve him better. The default position on any and every single statement uttered by the trump is that he is lying until proven otherwise, and it just seems to never be. This is even MORE certain when he is denying the many bad things he is denying that he did.
Russian collusion, lying about the election, lying about the insurrection, lying about his many crimes- all quite obvious.
Second. There are many aspects to the odious Project 2025, but the three worst of them all ..... the trump has ALREADY done, supported and promises he will do.
It doesn't get any more obvious he is lying than that.
A) Project 2025 wants to fire any competent government employee with any kind of competence or expertise and replace them with Project 2025 psychophants. the trump
Executive Ordered (which shoulkd be illegal but negative chance of that with this Supreme Corrupt) schedule F- which is exactly that.
B) Project 2025 wants an all out assault on the environment -removing any regulation that protects us
and the environment. the trump has done much of that already between his (should be illegal EOs) and appointing 3 of the Supreme Corrupt who has said FU to America in so many of its Constitution busting rulings.
the trump has said climate change is a hoax (more evidence he is a liar of course) and intends to give the oil companies carte blanche to destroy it (for a mere 1 billion dollar fee).
C) Project 2025 wants a closure of the border and round up illegal immigrants en masse. Not even someone like wildcat or outsider or Miz45 could deny he wants to do that.
Third. Abundant evidence that is exactly what he wants to do:
He flew with the head of Project 2025 and expressed support for it
According to the outlet, Trump and Roberts flew together to a Heritage Foundation conference, where Trump gave a keynote speech alluding to the then-forthcoming Project 2025.

His policy director is the co author of the horrible Project 2025
As the policy director for the Republican National Convention last month, Vought also helped to write the new GOP platform. In short, Vought is deeply involved in developing policy for the Republican party as well as Project 2025.
During the July 24 meeting, Vought spoke candidly about the goals of Project 2025 and how much Trump had a hand in it. CNN reported:
Vought said he had personally talked to Trump in recent months and received at least one personal “assignment” from him after he left office. He noted that the former president has “been at our organization, he’s raised money for our organization, he’s blessed it … he’s very supportive of what we do.”
That wasn’t just bluster to try to land a big check, according to others in the MAGA movement. Trump and Vought have spoken at various times since leaving office, and the former president has adopted some of Vought’s ideas, two sources familiar with their relationship told CNN.
Vought also told the reporters that Project 2025 was seemingly inspired by Trump:
