Voting day should be a National holiday. The polls should stay open for 24 hours mid night to mid night. You should have to present an ID at a polling place to receive a paper ballot. Paper ballot should be hand counted and the results announced no later than 24 hours after the polls close.
If you are elderly or infirm, you should request a absentee paper ballot and submit the same prior to voting day.
If you are a determined Citizen wishing to vote, you should be able to accommodate within this system.
