So it's kind of hard to argue regulation is driving oil and gas prices higher. Only a paragraph in that article addresses oil/gas prices and it simply states the price of each product in 2022 relative to when Biden took office with no actual reasons as to how we got there.

Comparing post covid prices to covid prices when demand had significantly dropped sending oil prices into the negative world for a day is disingenuous. The oil industry literally shut down for a couple of years and people were surprised when oil prices went up precipitously when demand returned to normal after covid? Simply a supply and demand issue.
