harris is little more than a barbie doll politician stimulating the masses with teleprompter lines, feminism, and an easy smile. her main political talent is being in the right place at the right time.
insolated by the nation's general loathing for a most unpopular former president, on in his years, senility approaching, angry and foul - harris suddenly takes the lead and is seen as more than sum of her parts.
this is shaping up to be a massive mega loss. but it will purge the republican party of it's populists, self-centered, isolationist wing. hopefully, we don't see it return for another century.
