The founders created the most cross-purposed system of checks and balances in known human history and the demons have still overwhelmed and destroyed it.
And yet the pickletonians propose total sovereignty and sanctity for each individual.
That may have worked before Eve took that bite out of the apple, but since then we've got a problem down here and it's never been solved with a bunch pollyanna pie-in-the-sky hopes and dreams.
