It's clear Trump was hit after the first shot, and there is a picture of the bullet going by his head. We know it can't be bullet fragments with that shot, and there does not appear to be any damage to the teleprompters on stage. I'm not sure what shrapnel would have hit him, but it does make sense that shrapnel and fragments would be found around the scene because the shooter fired off 8 shots.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
