and maybe even baseball if they could get a little more support, should just forego the academics nonsense and go straight to minor league type systems. Create their own league with contracts, drafts, salary caps, etc. Just make it what it really is and get it over with. Hire players and go. If some of those want to attend college that's a completely separate deal they pay for just like everyone else.
