Yes, Burden changed his route, the ball was for Wease. He used his Luther Instinct he said to the coaches afterward in film. That game and the K State game could have flipped our season script a bunch. Same goes for a couple of games the season before that didn’t go our way. The margin for error on a great and not so great season is inches. It will be again next season. See the Chiefs for a good example of this.
