at the earliest. I'd be a little surprised if it was this weekend. I don't have any information, I just don't expect it.
There are many sides to this. If he only drops out as the nominee and intends to finish his term, they've got to do it soon. But if he's going to resign the Presidency and drop out as the nominee, there are some timing contingency plans they need to put in place that might take a week or so.
Either way, it's a disaster on all fronts for them, especially when any of the alternatives poll worse than Joey.
