Instead of checking the outlandish and unreasonable margins of their party, they've given (too much) voice to the emotionally dysregulated adults within whose voices are often amplified online, and even in the MSM.

To be fair, I've recently seen ads from the right which seem unhinged in the completely opposite direction - it's completely unneeded to argue against the dysfuntional left for most adults.

I find myself looking at the left and seeing the lies that have been trumpeted as morally virtuous and thinking they're outrageous, yet disagreeing with them in a completely different way than some of the unhinged right seems to.
