Arguing over media polls is funny to me

They are meaningless. They are so wrong it is laughable they can even call them polls. Both parties do a really good job of internal polling. If you really want to see how the race is going, look at which side is panicking and acting desperate. That is the side that is losing.

If neither side is panicking, it's close.

The media polls are designed to promote an agenda. It's not more complicated than that. The samples are not even designed to be statistically relevant. If you actually took the time to read a poll and not just the top number headline, you'd know this.
