This is a tough one. There was plenty of thought toward the Clash, REM or Nirvana but I'm going with this.

Rolling Stones
1. Let It Bleed (1969)
2. Sticky Fingers (1971)
3. Exile on Main Street (1972)

It's sloppy and laden with licks. The writing is some of the best and Jagger/Richards were never better.
