is based purely on how fired up he gets while playing. I'm not sure he would have had the backing of other players to be named a captain. Him and his crazy wife had already burned plenty of bridges prior to moving to LIV.

Reed also threw Furyk under the bus in the 2018 Ryder cup and then was left off the 2021 team.

I just don't think he'd ever be considered for a captains spot.
