I doubt they visited personally with Biden, but it is a certainty Biden was advised of the plan by Lisa Monaco and the other Biden regime lawfare instigators. In any case, it doesn't matter whether Biden has intimate knowledge of his regime's involvement with the Trump prosecutions, he is responsible for any criminal activity committed by his underlings.
