like dating someone to the point of co habitation, they would be vetted early on with a couple of auto deal breakers.
- Tons of family nearby and required hangouts (unless it was mostly stuff I love to do and they were cool)
- Any hints of family drama or family that are over involved in her life
- Not financially secure
- Needy adult children, especially ones who require a lot of help with her kids
- Tons of social media posts getting worked up about things like the horrible patriarchy
In other words, good luck with that, probably best to just stay single.
Probably about 5 years after my mom passed my dad was able to meet someone like this. Really nice woman who just did her thing, didn't have a huge social life, didn't have much family contact except her sister, no kids, and really came with 0 drama. They've been happily married almost 20 years now.
