player in the UK if he walked the streets? I would say almost none. If that same player came and played in Arrowhead, I bet the team would sell out the game. Having a small but rabid fanbase for a sport doesn't mean that most average fans would know even the most popular players.
About the only reason I might think Mahomes would have a little higher level of international popularity than most other NFL player is because he plays on the same team as Kelce and his relationship with Taylor Swift has brought an increased number of international fans.
