Someone was making the point that SEC schools were clearing their schedules for potentially expanding their conference schedule to 9 games - and only 3 teams still had 4 non-conference games on their schedule for 2026.

Mizzou
Florida
Mississippi State

SEC locked into 8 conference games through 2025 - but the poster thought it was a bit more than a coincidence that teams are not scheduling more than 3 out of conference games in 2026 except for the above 3 schools.


Big 10 is already there with 9 conference games scheduled each year.

Seems pretty logical SEC follows suit.
