TV-9 Investigators looked into Plain’s past and found a history of felonies, including previous assault on police officers.


Court records show Plain has been convicted of four felony cases, meaning he is not allowed to have a gun.

His most recent felony was in 2014, when he rammed his car into a police car. He was sentenced to 10 years for assaulting a police officer.

Court records show Plain was out of prison and committing more crimes in little more than three years.

Plain was awaiting trial for an April arrest for interference with official acts when he ran from and then fought with U-S Marshalls.
