Simple mistake but instead just looking at it and saying "Oh, that was a dumb mistake, my bad." you doubled and then tripled down on stupid. Only someone completely convinced they they were infallible would have ever made that mistake.

When you assume your word is gospel and everyone else is liars this shít is bound to happen.
