I had a similar situation when I was 14

We were in the process of relocating to Columbia from Marshall and would spend nights at the Holidome occasionally. There was some sci-fi or comic book convention going on one weekend while we were there. Got in the hot tub and was chatting with a woman and her husband. She was an author, I think. They were there as speakers. Anyway, After sitting there for a few minutes, she gets out and gets her husband a towel. Turns out, he was sitting the hot tub NAKED. I was not allowed to venture out into the common areas alone the rest of that stay.
