There’s currently over 400 MW of solar facilities under construction within 40 miles of me in central MO. That’s the equivalent of about 1/3 of the Callaway nuclear plant.
California ISO currently gets an average of 40% of power from renewables, with a peak over 100%. New England ISO gets about 35% of power from nuclear/renewable.
All those numbers will increase dramatically over the next ten years.
You don’t need to rely on fossil fuels to power EVs.
