The Israeli Army is reportedly in 'urgent need' of soldiers amid the war against Hamas in Gaza.
Israeli Army Radio reported that the IDF has decided to create a new division for Israeli reservists over the retirement age of 40 to meet the “urgent need for more troops.”
This division of five reserve brigades is reportedly in the “advance stages” of planning.
The report comes just a day after IDF lost a total of 11 soldiers in different battles across the Gaza Strip.
