system on the KMBC tower at 23rd and Topping in the ghetto. We weren't on the backup generator and saw frequent power outages. My wife's grandmother used to live not far from there and the first thing she and her neighbors did was call each other in the morning to make sure they hadn't been taken out by overnight gunfire.

We finally figured the frequent power outages in the early morning were when they were cutting power in order to serve warrants on drug houses.
