the women's law caucus at Mizzou law school said they had been denied the right to be drafted and hence denied the GI Bill. They could have enlisted but didn't fit the narrative. By then the draft had ended so no risk
They always had a dinner at the beginning of school with the Profs who were mainly WW2 vets in those days with the vets in law school who given the time period were mainly VN vets. The women's law caucus demanded the dinner be ended and they won
