My first Cards/Cubs game was June 22, 2002.

Drove up on Saturday morning, got to the game nice and early and waited for the game to start. Joe Girardi eventually came out and announced that because of a death in the Cardinals organization the game wouldn't be played. It took about 10 phone calls to figure out what had happened and that Darryl Kile had died.
Spent the rest of the day getting drunk at The Billy Goat Tavern.
