shouting at clouds = complaining about something meaningless and nobody cares (or shouldn't care). for example "i'm outraged by mizzou's lack of gold pants!"

shouting down a well = complaining about something important but nobody cares (but they really should). example, "why the **** are we considering hiring kim freaking anderson???"
