Traffic around Columbia’s Golden Corral on Clark lane was packed all weekend for the restaurant’s reopening, with diners waiting more than 90 minutes at times for a table.

Restaurant patrons were literally lined up out the door for much of the weekend, as Golden Corral reopened after being closed 18 months due to a devastating New Year’s Eve 2022 blaze. That fire caused approximately $250,000 in damage,
