It is rooted in the non-aggression principle, and simply means do not vote, do not take employment from the government, do not contract with the government, and do not operate in markets created by government.

Why? Because voting is a mechanism to impose your political will on others and deprive them of life, liberty, and property. Because those jobs and contracts are paid by stolen property via taxation
