ETA - these are for the common folks, others have already stated why the DC elites don't like him

1) he takes some valid criticism for covid - for some this is a death knell they can't get over.

2) he takes some valid criticism that he didn't do some of the things he said and didn't wreck DC as much as many felt he should have (me included) his first term.

3) MOST of the rabid idiots (JG, rask, Fiji) do not hate him for anything he did or didn't do, they hate him because they were told to hate him. They accepted every lie by the media (both sides/Charlottesville, making fun of retarded people) and accepted that trump is evil incarnate, an evil mastermind and law-breaking businessman, a racist (even though he was loved by the left and famous black people for decades), and also (somehow) the dumbest person on earth.

The people in bucket #3 are lost as long as our media is not held to account for some truthfulness in reporting, or all those media sources are shut off (not advocating for the latter, just stating it).
