I'm glad to hear the engagement has had a positive impact on your life, relationships, etc. Sounds like a significant shift.

When I look back on what I thought I knew a decade ago I have to laugh at how much my fierce defending and righteous indignation had so little to do with the actual issues and more to do with my need to be right.
