to get the biggest liar ever, who lied that he was going to testify. What a farce.

Here is the thing about this trial though. No matter the verdict, it was a great truimph for democracy. For the first time a criminal President was held accountable by a court. (not the first criminal President- far from it- but the first time one was brought to court.

As I have said our justice system is a crap shoot- a guilty man has to like his chances and an innocent man has to feel terrified. No one is guaranteed justice but a shot at it is all we can ask usually, and mission accomplished.

Now before the Supreme Corrupt overturns the verdict the trump will be found guilty for 4 reasons.

1) first and foremost he is guilty as Hell , the evidence is quite clear
2) he did not testify. this can not be used against him except it will be entirely used against him
3) every New Yorker knows the trump is a slimy lying fraudster
4) every New Yorker knows someone or knows someone that knows someone that the trump has screwed over in business.

Now Blanche did an excellent job with what little he had, he raised many doubts, its just that none of them are reasonable. all the lies that Cohen and Costello told really had nothing to do with the facts of the case.
