Constitution, that was just stupid. Not that I don't trust CNN, but there wasn't much context around that quote. Nonetheless, if that quote was accurate, then Trump did a stupid thing.
Do you think the "professionals" at the FIB… The ones like strzok and page and the rest of the mid and upper level administrators at the agency have performed their jobs independently of politics?
Do you think Colonel Venkman performed his job independently of politics?
And do you think that people in those positions who hire other people to work below them don't hire people who think like they do?
It has become nothing more than a romanticized historical footnote, that bureaucrats USED TO Perform their duties independent of politics.
