There have been all kinds of experiments, though I suspect very few within the Plant Science Dept. of any Land Grant Ag school. Did you know humans can attract insects by talking to them? Its the CO2 in your exhaled breath that attracts them, not the sound of your voice. Likewise, plant growth likely responds positively to the exhaled breath produced when a human talks to it. The reason is that plants absorb CO2 during photosynthesis. CO2 is essential to plant growth, just as sunlight, N, P & K and other nutrients are.
