Third-parties rarely work, they are either beholden to or in assistance of one of the two parties.

And they generally caucus with one of those two giving them an extra voice in committees, etc. It would just be better if people wanted what's best for the country instead of their own sleazy careers.

Term limits I think it would go along way to fix that.
