I've sent text messages in the past to Bob Golic on ESPN and Brian Kilmeade on Fox for similar linguistic injustices. I asked Golic if he actually graduated from Notre Dame or was he just a dumb jock… Words to that effect. He actually responded, to his credit, and assured me that he had in fact graduated from the University of Notre Dame.
People who speak for a living should speak properly. But I guess that's too much to ask.
