Prosecutor Matthew Colangelo just said in the court room that the Trump/Cohen/Pecker "conspiracy began" a few months after Donald Trump announced his candidacy at a meeting between Trump, David Pecker and Michael Cohen at Trump tower in August of 2015.

This means that Pecker and Cohen will both likely testify to this.

Prosecutors also said that they "formed a conspiracy at that meeting to influence the presidential election by concealing negative information about Mr. Trump in order to help him get elected."

Trump then allegedly falsified dozens of business records to cover up this conspiracy.
