say I’ve ever really needed the suspension fork for where I ride.

My father got a 7.3 FX the same year and it served him well while he was physically able to ride.

The 7500/7.5 FX has a step upgrade on the derailluers, but I don’t think it would be noticed for most use cases.

It is a nice bike. Buy the 7.3 FX with no regrets. I’d have just gotten that if I could do it all over again.
