that Mizzou would not have any sort of advantage, but it appears that we can compete. So here's the question: where does the MU NIL money come from? I assume from just a few very rich alums. But who?

I assume Texas, TAMU, AL, GA, OK and others have even deeper pockets. Mizzou has a relatively small alumni base compared with Texas, TAMU, and some of the others, I assume (just smaller over the decades). And probably less rabid fans versus some, too. But nonetheless, we do seem to compete okay, and that rather amazes me actually.
