Put emphasis on a smaller project improve the fan experience in terms of a video board, sound system, wifi, and more modern bathrooms, & a simpler seating installment with the hill. That issue, in & of itself could have been resolved.
The real problem "some" of the board had to do with how DRzf had reshaped the athletics office by jettisoning several self agenda serving holdovers dating back to Aldens early tenure..these folks being moved out insured the AD office could & would be puppeted by the board in the future...this did not set well. The budget oversight committee was akin to using a sledge hammer to kill a fly, as opposed to a fly swatter..on some different funding issues in the AD office. I don't the details or the malaise of this matter..but was told, there were some small problems with some odd decisions. In the end, a couple of BoC members did want a bigger stadium project, like Drink wanted..& moreover wanted more of a Yes Woman from DRF. And she left...and feels she has a legit complaint that terms of contract were violated, allowing her to move on without paying a buyout.
Again, several items there, there, I only know for certain..that she did clean up the AD office of dead weight, & the a couple of BoC members did not like it. The rest concerning stadium issues & oversight committee were relayed to me. But the admin is still dodging questions about all of it...so it checks out in my mind.
