No surprise that Butler moved on. I kind of expected both him and Pierce to do so if we added significant talent that could adversely impact playing time.

That's the game today. You don't really get to develop talent except in rare cases anymore. It's make an immediate contribution or show you'll somehow play a big role in the future or get replaced and move on to the next team.
