The ticket price for a WNBA game is half that of the NBA and the average attendance is 6,600 while the NBA attendance is 18,000 per game. The WNBA plays 36 regular season games, the NBA plays 82. The national TV contract for the NBA ($2.6 Billion)earns the teams enough money to cover 100% of the player salary. The WNBA contract? $60 million.
