Of all the times I was stolen from/got ripped off by counterfeit money at my store, the only time I ever reported it was when the insurance company required me to.

Then they didn't cover it and raised my rates.

Never even considered it after that, and that was in a city that cared about those types of crimes and would have arrested the criminal. Even less reason to report in LA.
