Cal needed to go. That part isn't debatable.
The issue is who Barnhart hired and the contract he gave him. Struck out with Hurley (duh) and God interjected on Drew (honestly happy about that). But then he panics and hires Pope.

-He won his conference ZERO times
-Conference finishes of...
---5th, 5th, 2nd, and 2nd in the WAC
---2nd, 2nd, 5th, and T5 in the WCC
---5th in the B12.
Full disclosure, I'm a HS basketball coach and LOVE Pope's offenses. They're super productive. But Mark Pope wouldn't even be on the radar had he not played at UK. And that's a freaking problem. Like a huge problem.
