saying it is homophobic to use that against protesters. The point the protesters are making has nothing to do with LGBT issues. I get it that you are too simple minded to understand, but people can condemn actions against a specific group of people while not endorsing all activities of that specific group of people.

Pointing out what Hamas may do to LGBT is an attempt to use the sexual orientation of the protesters to tell them they shouldn’t be protesting and ignoring what they are actually protesting about.
