I understand the rules when you are allowed to talk to a player in that scenario, as well as others like being on the campus, etc., but taking a player from a former team that you were coaching, without the knowledge of the former teams hierarchy, is not ethical. All is fine that she legally spoke to her under the NCAA rules but like I said, that doesn’t make it ethical outside of those rules.
