not allowing good players to play because of grades, black kids in STL won't come to Mizzou, Mizzou won't stoop to these successful teams levels - and the cherry on top was playing football for 10 years on a slip and slide, injuries bound to happen field.
Other ridiculous things happened to kill football momentum off 3 or 4 years into this league and now it's the overarching need to hire these horrible coaches and AD's based on sex or skin color.
Ultimately, of course, all these things over all these years have been about controlling fan expectations and keeping costs way, way down compared to conference opponents.
