Two back-to-back storms are expected to bring heavy snow, strong winds, and flash floods to parts of the northern U.S. through next week.
While the calendar says spring, winter alerts are up for 32 million people today and tomorrow from the northern Rocky Mountains and Upper Midwest through the central Great Lakes region and into New England.
The first storm is a fast-mover and will bring snow to eastern Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan today, and the interior Northeast and New England Saturday.
The second storm will power up on Sunday and could bring even higher amounts of snow and stronger winds than the first storm to the Upper Midwest.
