Trump is facing a Monday deadline to come up with a bond to cover the $464 million civil fraud judgment against him in New York while he appeals that case.
New York Attorney General Letitia James’ office today pushed back on Trump’s claim that he can’t secure a bond, and urged the court in a filing to deny Trump’s “extraordinary request” to appeal without posting the full amount.
James has said she will seize some of Trump’s property if he can’t get a bond by Monday’s deadline.
