At least three people were killed and dozens injured after a tornado outbreak overnight across seven states including Indiana and Ohio.
In Ohio, two people were killed at a mobile home park north of Dayton after a tornado reportedly touched down, according to the Logan County sheriff. A third death was also confirmed, but it wasn’t immediately clear if it also occurred at the mobile home park.
Social media users posted dramatic videos of approaching tornados, and images of significant damage to homes and businesses.
Elsewhere across the country, Tennessee firefighters conducted a swift water rescue to pull two people from a pickup that had been swept away from a bridge.
Tonight 17 million people from Texas to Alabama are at risk for storms with very large hail, strong winds, and isolated tornadoes.
